The Academy is linked to the Mario del Monaco International Academic Association for High Vocal and Artistic Education, of which Cav. Alberto del Monaco and Maestro Giancarlo del Monaco, respectively brother and son of Mario del Monaco, are honorary presidents.
Leading the association are president, artistic director and teacher Cristiana De Sidi, and vice-president and teacher Giancarlo Mari.
Giancarlo del Monaco’s participation in the Academy’s activities, in addition to guaranteeing the quality of the training offered, encourages the importance given to the technical training. This preparation combines the sensory and scientific methods into a comprehensive experience, ensuring that students, upon completing their studies, are perfect connoisseurs of their own instrument. They will be able to consciously control the structures that compose and activate it, transforming the moment when this knowledge merges, together with the vocal and scenic interpretation, into art.
